St Andrews Leckie Parish Church
oin us for worship this Sunday at 11 am. We meet in the Leckie Memorial Church in Peebles and have a space just for you.
In 1918, St Andrew's Church and the West Church were to merge, taking the name of the former, and worshipping in the building of the latter. With the great union of the Church of Scotland and the United Free Church in 1929, St Andrew's Church and the Leckie Memorial Church both became charges of the Church of Scotland, and the Presbytery allocated to each a parish area within the burgh. Finally, and after extended discussions, St Andrew's Parish Church and the Leckie Memorial Parish Church united under the name of St Andrew's Leckie Parish Church in 1976, and from 1977 employed the Leckie Memorial Church as their place of worship.
